Advertise to Shoppers

In-store media delivers The Right Message, in The Right Place, at The Right Time, to The Right Audience!

By using a digital in-store media network, brand and promotional messages can be localised and driven right through to point-of-purchase to influence the customer at that critical moment where 70% of buying decisions are made. In-store media has delivered exceptional real-world results and extraordinary sales lifts have been measured. Arbitron’s research amongst 1,000 US shoppers showed that of the 33% who had seen in-store TV, 75% found it useful and 42% would prefer to shop at a store with video displays.

“Brands ignore the importance of in-store advertising at their peril”.
Nick Widdowson, merchandising manager at Unilever UK Foods.

As traditional media becomes increasingly fragmented and audience reach is more of a challenge, in-store media becomes increasingly compelling. Brands and retailers are recognising that this IS the future. A 2007 marketing expenditure intentions survey conducted in the US by reveries.com showed 70% of brands are developing retail media strategies with 84% expecting to increase their ‘shopper marketing’ budgets.

Nielsen media recently announced a new services measuring out-of-home networks and Zenith Media was the first big customer; this is media whose time has come. In the UK, advertising on in-store screens had an annual growth of 81% last year.  In the US the spend has topped the US$100m mark annually.
